The lady seizes a long piece of cloth, the veil, on both ends with nearly outstretched arms. The fabric forms a long U-shaped loop that is reaching down to the floor. The dancer is clad in one-piece suit with short trousers and tight-fitting top with a big collar.

Zwei anmutige Tänzerinnen in langen, tief ausgeschnittenen und hoch geschlitzten roséfarbenen Kleidern mit lauem Blumendekor, einander zugewandt mit nach hinten geneigtem Oberkörper und dabei die Rockenden festhaltend eine Tanzpose ausführend.
Auf schwarzem, abgestuftem Rechtecksockel.


Die 'Dolly Sisters' Rosie Dolly (1892 - 1970) und Jenny Dolly (1892 - 1941), bekannt als (die) Dolly Sisters, waren ungarisch-stämmige amerikanische identische Zwillingstänzerinnen, Sängerinnen und Schauspielerinnen, die in den 1910er und 1920er Jahren große Beliebtheit im Varieté und im Theater erlangt haben. Beide Schwestern traten auch in zwei Stummfilmen auf.

Autumn:  in a floor-length, checked dress with a light coat and a blue bow around her neck, her head with the pinned up, blond hair tilted to the left, holding green foliage with autumn fruits in her hands.

THE CAPTURED BIRD

VIENNA 1925

The dance 'Der Gefangene Vogel' performed by the dancer Niddy Impekoven (1904-2002) in the early twenties of the 20th century is shown: the dancer, balancing on tiptoe, takes a big step with her arms raised forwards and backwards. She wears a short, translucent brown dance dress with orange, cream, yellow and dark brown patterned bat sleeves, the structure of which is reminiscent of butterfly wings. The dark brown cap of the slender, elegant dancer almost completely covers her hair, a flower vase set aside serves as a support. On a black oval base.
