The lady seizes a long piece of cloth, the veil, on both ends with nearly outstretched arms. The fabric forms a long U-shaped loop that is reaching down to the floor. The dancer is clad in one-piece suit with short trousers and tight-fitting top with a big collar.

'EVENEING DRESS'
VIENNA  1935

Depiction of an elegant lady in a long, tight-fitting, backless dress made of black lace and a wide skirt part. She also wears long gray gloves, her hair pinned up and matched to the color of the feather fan she is holding in her right hand. With her left hand she pulls the skirt up a little at the front, a black toe can be seen under the hem. The figure is based on the skirt hem without a base, the artist's signature 'Lorenzl' on the skirt hem at the back.

The upright standing Pierrette wears a hat with a front brim, a large cream-colored ruff and a trouser suit with a flared top, which is completely decorated with colored flowers. With her head tilted slightly forward, she holds a guitar in front of her with both hands. On a black, diamond-shaped, stepped base, artist's signature 'Dakon' on the top, on the side behind the figure.
